This pedestal is just unfinished wood the client usually covered it with a table cloth, but the statue was heavy and needed a nice base.
The once unfinished wood pedestal has become marble. All the nail holes and wood flaws were filled then a faux marble created to compliment and enhance the statue was executed.
The white column has been painted marble so it will blend in with the red of the red marbled bathroom
