This door was custom built for a client. A couple of the pieces of the wood were much lighter than the rest of the door, which would be even more apparent when the varnish coats were applied.

The lighter pieces of wood have to be stained so that it will look closer to the other pieces when clear coated. Very hard to do because if the stain is too dark it could ruin the look of the door.

The hardware has been installed on the door, the hand rubbed look of the varnish coats, compliment the black iron details of this door.
